The Atlantic Beach Police Department voluntarily reports major crimes committed within the City to the Federal Bureau of Investigation through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement 
 
This report is known as the Uniform Crime Report (UCR). This statistical information provides for a comparison of all participating agencies with respect to their reported crimes and the incidents they resolve.
